2008-2009 Annual Fund Drive
The 2008-2009 Annual Fund Drive will, this year, emphasize community participation. Letters have been sent to every household and business in Boxborough asking for a $10 (at least) contribution. With usage and circulation figures soaring at the library in Boxborough, directors of the Foundation felt that if each library user contributes $10, our library could continue its efforts to keep its collection of books, CD'S, DVD's and periodicals current. Over 6,100 visits are made to the library each month: more than 106,738 items have been checked out in the past year! The Sargent Memorial Library Foundation asks for all to be generous and give so that the library can continue to meet our community's information and entertainment needs.
Please send your check to Sargent Memorial Library Foundation, 326 Sargent Rd. Boxborough, MA 01719 or drop your check at the library. Your donation will be entirely tax-deductible and will truly benefit the library.
We will be tracking both dollars raised and community participation in a display at the library. Our goal is 100% participation.
