Community Conversation about Racism

Dear readers,

We would like to invite you to a community conversation about race, racism, and our own experiences with it.

Lovely as our town is, the issues and incidents of racism that have been at play on the national stage are also felt by residents in our small town. To support each other, we need to know what racism means, how it manifests, and learn how it intersects with our lives. The library will be hosting our first community conversation about racism on Thursday 6/24. It will be facilitated by two equity consultants who will help us define certain concepts and lead discussions. Please understand that the purpose of the conversations is to help make our community stronger. It is an opportunity for all of us to come together, get to know each other, gain knowledge, and be better. We hope you will be able to join us.

Date: 6/24

Time: 7pm

This event will be online over Zoom. Please register for it here: https://tinyurl.com/boxboroconvo
