VIRTUAL: Digital Art Workshop with Hongbing Tang

Ever seen a poetic scene of a water town in the East with cherry blossoms, a small moving boat, and birds flying over it and wondered how to recreate it digitally? Sponsored by the Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council, this fun art workshop is for students who want to explore the fundamentals of digital painting with animation and explore Eastern culture and art. Ms. Hongbing Tang, an award-winning artist and college faculty member, will guide students through step-by-step instructions on how to paint digital art with cool animation effects and explore Chinese calligraphy.
Please download Adobe Fresco on iPad – a powerful free app from the App Store. An Apple pencil or a stylus pen is recommended to use. Reference image will be provided to registered students by email. The class will be online, and a Zoom link will be sent to students before class. Space is limited and RSVP is required.
