Our todays will one day become the past, and what we are currently experiencing will one day become history. But if history is not properly documented, it risks becoming stories and legends and myths.
We are living through unprecedented times. Framingham History Center started a digital archive to collect Framingham residents' experiences. We received permission to adapt two data collection tools for our community members and create our own digital archive to record what our surroundings and daily lives are like during this period. Please find the line-a-day journal template and the photo submission form linked below.
Record a Digital Daily Journal
If you don't keep a journal, this might be a good time to start one. We have a Google Sheets template for line-a-day journaling. You can make a copy of the template to use in your Google account, or download it as an Excel spreadsheet to save on your computer.
If you live or work around Boxborough, we would greatly appreciate it if you consider submitting a copy of your journal to the library (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you do, it would be a part of Boxborough Historical Society's historical record compilation of this day and time.
