Sargent Memorial Library patrons have access to a number of online research databases through the library's subscription (marked with *), offerings of CW MARS (Central Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing Network), or through the support of the MBLC (Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners) by way of federal funding.
With the most recent federal budget cut, many of the state-wide database subscriptions were eliminated (visit MBLC's site for more details). Fortunately, any Massachusetts resident can apply for a Boston Public Library eCard to access BPL's online platforms, apps, and databases. If you are unable to find what you need through the links below, check out BPL's offerings.
Note: Databases with marked with a * are available to Boxborough cardholders. Other databases are made available to all MA residents by MBLC (Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners).
