NOTE: While we accept ongoing inquiries, our volunteer program fills quickly. These are the best times to contact us for volunteer hours:
- If you are interested in volunteering during the school year, please contact us before the first day of school.
- For the spring semester, contact us before winter break.
- For the summer, contact us before the last day of school.
Library volunteering mostly involves helping to reshelve and organize books. Occasionally we'll also have special projects like cutting out craft components, making pins, or other one-off tasks.
Library volunteers must be at least 14 years old and in the second semester of 8th grade. That's when ABRHS starts counting community service hours.
Hours are available Monday - Thursday until 7:45pm.
Volunteers are asked to make a regular time commitment of 1 hour per week for a 12 week period of time. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Heather at hwaddell@cwmars.org.
