As part of Summer Scares 2024, we welcomed authors Rachel Harrison and Emily C. Hughes for a discussion about their books and loving horror as a weenie. Harrison’s novel Such Sharp Teeth was a selection for the Horror Writers Association 2024 Summer Scares program. Hughes recently released her debut book, Horror For Weenies: Everything You Need to Know About the Films You're Too Scared to Watch.

Kate Donovan of Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens gives an overview of pollinator species and ways to attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other beneficials to your garden.

In January 2024, Kate Donovan from Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens hosted a seed swap at the library. Attendees had very engaging and informative conversations, and swapped seeds and stories.
