February Break Programs
February Break is coming soon, and the library has everything you need to counter the dreaded "I'm bored!" There will be all of the wonderful stuff we usually have, like books, movies, and Switch games to borrow; but we're also hosting fun events and activities all week long, Tuesday, February 18 through Thursday, February 20. Our highlights are:
Did you miss out on building the Cardboard Castle over the summer? Here's your chance! We'll have the materials set up in the Children's Room all week to build a whole new creation.
STEM and robotics fans of all ages can keep their brains warmed up with the Techno Maniacs at the Robot Meet and Greet. This student-led competitive robotics team will bring their robot for you to see (and maybe drive!) as well as some fun STEM activities.
Reading to a warm, fluffy friend is the best cure for winter blues, so we've also invited Blitzen the Dog to come hear some stories! Readers of all ages can sign up for a time slot to read aloud, sit and snuggle, or tell Blitzen a story.
And Julie Harrold will be back to lead a Family Art Class for ages 8 and up. Embrace the chill as Julie leads you through the creation of this gorgeous Northern Lights painting.
